Eastern Quebec isn’t the first place most people will think of for back country skiing, but there are some turns to be had if you are willing to work for them. Dave Busch and I set out for our mission leaving Ottawa at the crack of noon. After some car scouting we found a couple spots that looked good and started hiking.

The snow was good but not much of a base which made for some good falls and good laughs. We also had a pretty nice sunset that came into play on the lower turns on the hill.

Enjoy!
